Article Guidelines
While we encourage all registered members to contribute to the 3FL Wiki, at the same time we are trying to promote the growth and maintain a central repository of information that is consistent to the scope of the 3FL Wiki. This article is to serve as a guideline to all users as to what type articles (both content and quality wise) the 3FL Wiki is looking to contain.
Content
We are very aware there are always bigger and better sources of information out there, as we are not trying to be the next Wikipedia - in the sense that, although detail is great - there'll always be things we have missed etc. The 3FL Wiki is to serve its members with information that is suitable to the services 3FL offers. We want content that is relevant to some one who wants to be able to quickly refer to this source if they are unsure about something - for eg. the objective of a particular online game or how to contact a 3FL Admin etc.
Types of Articles
As mentioned, the 3FL Wiki is to serve as an advanced and continuously evolving Help source. The beauty of it is that just about everyone can contribute and edit articles - so that all users can influence the content and direction of the 3FL Wiki. Any article that is useful and will be able to help people out, is what we are trying to promote.
Articles are varied and can be classified under (But are not limited to):
- Games (e.g. Counter-Strike: Source etc)
- Applications (e.g. Voice Chat Programs etc)
- Existing 3FL Services (e.g. 3FL Download Vault etc)
Reasons for Article Deletion
Articles that may be deleted are those that exhibit a nature that is not helpful and or inappropriate. Keep in mind, the objective of this Wiki is to provide information about 3FL related services and it's associated community.
Reasons for deletion include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Illegal content (e.g. warez or cheating etc.)
- Articles written in vulgar or inappropriate language
- Meaningless articles or articles that serve no purpose relevant to 3FL
- Articles that feature plagiarised (copy and paste etc) material. This refers to both text and imagery
- Copyright infringement
- Vandalism that is not correctable
The 3FL Wiki Admin Team reserve the right to modify or delete articles immediately if it is believed to conflict with these guidelines.
Articles that have been marked for "proposed" deletion can be found here.
